We’re open! Ready when you are…

For months, we have homecooked, packed and delivered our beautiful Indian food to the people of Swansea; but on 3rd August, we officially announced our grand re-opening as we welcomed back customers for indoor dining. Throughout lockdown, our tables have sat empty, the chairs untouched and the silverware regrettably tucked away, and now we have returned with an enthusiasm like never before since we’ve opened the doors once again to diners.

Serving house favourites such as our signature Lamb Rogan Josh and fiery Chicken Jalfrezi, we are ready, oh, so very ready to bring you back to us. If you have missed out on family celebrations throughout this difficult and unprecedented time, and you are eager to unite with loved ones, there has never been a better time to join us at Rasoi. We have missed you, Swansea; as the usual hustle and bustle of our restaurants escaped us, we have missed tremendously, the influx of couples, families and friends gathering at our tables. We are excited, and we sincerely hope you are, too.

Of course, things look a little different to usual. Our hard-working and dedicated team members have worked tirelessly to rearrange our seating arrangements, implement new safety protocols throughout and ensure the safe return of Rasoi.
So, what can you expect during your next visit to us? Firstly, expect no compromise on the same five-star service you have come to know from us, quality of food like no place else and of course, your dishes served to your table with the warmest of smiles from our friendly waiting staff. We haven’t hiked up our prices or changed our menu, meaning you’ll be returning to the Rasoi you know and love. Really, not much has changed here, we have simply made dining with us a safe and comfortable experience in line with new COVID-19 regulations.

For now, we are accepting walk-ins and welcoming bookings at both restaurants. We’re currently very busy at both restaurants, so booking is advisable to secure a table.
Due to table spacing and limitations on numbers, we have needed to implement a restriction of 6 people per table. This allows us to ensure our diners can be safely accommodated.
We’ve increased our cleaning protocols, so you’re likely to see our staff thoroughly cleaning tables and chairs as diners leave our restaurants, and you will be asked for some personal details on arrival and booking. We’ve introduced the NHS track and trace process at both our restaurants to protect the well-being of our staff and customers. We promise not to use or share your data with anyone, other than the NHS, when needed.

Customer support means such a lot to local businesses like ours. The government have recognised the need to support café’s and restaurants like Rasoi, initiating a new “Eat out to help out scheme.” This is great news for us but also means you can save up to half price on your meals when choosing to dine with us on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The scheme will entitle you to a saving of £10 per head inclusive of food and drinks, but isn’t applicable to alcoholic beverages.

We’d like to extend the warmest thank you to our loyal and supportive customers, who have continued to rally around us by ordering take-aways for collections and home deliveries and for those who came to dine with us outdoors, when we couldn’t open our indoor facilities. The support has been tremendous and has essentially meant Rasoi could return the way we have done so. While our restaurants have been exceptionally busy since our re-opening, we appreciate that not everyone feels comfortable enough to eat out right now; as always, our take-away menu can still be enjoyed from home.
